Eric
Houston, 20 killed four people and woundED 10 in an armed siege at his
former high school in Oliverhurst, California. Prosecutors said the
attack was in retribution for a failing grade. Houston was
convicted and was given the death sentence.

Description:Scott Pennington, 17, walked into Deanna McDavid's English class at East Carter High School in Grayson, Ky., and shot her in the head. He then shot janitor Marvin Hicks. Pennington was sentenced to life without parole.

Description:
A 14-year-old student upset at peers turned an assault rifle on his algebra
class, killing two classmates and a teacher, in the central Washington
city of Moses Lake. Barry Lokaitis was sentenced to two mandatory
life terms for the attack at Frontier Junior High School.

School Junior Yohao Albert Rivas, 18, shot and wounded two classmates in
a stairwell on campus.

Description:
A
16-year-old student upset with fellow classmates opens fire with a shotgun
in a common area at the Bethel, Alaska, high school. Killed are school
principal Ron Edwards and classmate Josh Palacious. Two other students
are wounded. Authorities later accuse two other students of knowing
the shootings would take place. Evan Ramsey was sentenced to two
99-year prison terms.

Description:
A 16-year old student, Luke Woodham, beat his mother with a baseball bat
and stabbed her to death with a butcher knife. Later he drove to
Pearl High School, where he opened fire and killed two students, including
his ex-girl friend and wounding seven others. Luke had frequently
talked of visiting with "glowing red cloaked demons." He has been
sentenced to life in prison.

Description:
Michael Carneal, age 14, a B student and son of a successful lawyer, fired
twelve shots at a prayer group just after the group finished its pray assembly
and was reciting their final "Amen", in Heath High School. Three students
were killed and five wounded. Michael Carneal was small and pudgy for his
age. Because of his size and demeanor he frequent was the victim of bulling
and taunting by other Heath High school students. Following his arrest
Michael expressed appreciation for his infamy.

"Colt" Todd, 14, is arrested in the sniper shooting of two students outside
their high school. The students recovered; Todd said the was tired
of being picked on.

Mitchell
Johnson age 13 and Andrew Golden age 11, pulled a fire alarm that forced
students and staff to exit the rear of the school onto a large playground.
Johnson and Golden dressed in military type fatigues hide in a wooded area
and fired at the students and staff as they were locked out of the building.
Four students and one teacher were killed and 10 others were seriously
wounded.

Edinboro, Pennsylvania, 14-year-old Andrew Wurst allegedly, fatally shot
teacher, John Gillette, and wounded two students at an eight-grade dance.
The suspect, an eighth-grade student at J. W. Paker Middle School, had
reportedly told students he planned to "make the dance memorable."

high School senior shot and killed another student in the parking lot at
Lincoln County High School, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, three days before
they were to graduate. Jacob Davis, 18, confronted Nick Creson, 18, apparently
because they had argued about a girl. After the shooting, Davis reportedly
put the gun on the ground, sat down next to it and put his head in his
hands.

Description:
Using the semiautomatic rifle and a Glock 9mm pistol that his father bought
him, Fifteen year old Kipland Kinkel, a day after he had been suspended
from school for bring a pistol to school, returned the following day and
killed two Thurston High School students and wounded 22 others. He also
killed both of his parents the night before. In an Internet profile that
he wrote about himself he stated that he liked "role-playing games, heavy-metal
music, violent cartoons/TV and sugared cereal."

Description:
Following
a fight with his girlfriend, a 17 year old male entered a remote restroom
in the science wing of Central High School and shot his girl friend, killing
her. The suspect then shot himself to death with a shot to the head.

Description:
Two alleged gang members or wannabe’s entered Columbine High School and
shot and killed twelve students and a teacher. Eric Harris age 18 and Dylan
Klebold age 17 also wounded 23 others, before killing themselves. Both
suspects apparently told others that they were going to commit this act,
including a parent or a fellow student the night before and had written
about it in papers, notebooks and class assignments.

Description:
Fifteen year-old T. J. Solomon entered Heritage High School and opened
fire. Six students were injured and Solomon reportedly threatened to shoot
himself in the head with the revolver before an assistant principal disarmed
Solomon.

Suspect Seth Trickey, an A-student and popular teenager at Fort Gibson
Middle School allegedly pulled the gun from his backpack while standing
in front of the school. Witnesses stated that he then fired 15 rounds into
a crowd of about 70 students, wounding four of them.

6-year-old Kayla was in class at Buell Elementary School when she was shot
once in the chest witha .32-caliber semiautomatic pistol. Police
said a six-year-old boy pulled the trigger, usin a gun he found in a shoe
box inside the "flophouse" where he had been living. Shortly thereafter,
his mother was arrested for dealing crack cocaine. His father was
already in prison at the time of the shooting.

shot by the Oxnard Police SWAT team in the Hueneme High School quad as students were
finishing lunch.

Description: 15 year-old Andy Williams entered Santana High School
in suburban San Diego and proceeded to fire randomly into crowds of students.
He killed 14-year-old Bryan Zuckor and 17-year-old Randy Gordon and wounded
13 others. The .22-caliber handgun was kept locked in his father's
cabinet. No motive has been determined.

Description: Student Elizabeth Bush took a loaded .22-caliber
revolver from her home to Bishop Neumann Junior-Senior High School and
sat through a Mass where prayers were said for the students killed two
days earlier at Santana High. She then went to the school's cafeteria
and fired the gun, which belonged to her father, at fellow student Kim
Marchese, wounding her in the right shoulder. Bush was described
by other students as an "outsider".

Description: Granite Hills High School senior Jason Hoffman knelt
next to a tree in the school's small quadrangle and fired at fellow students
with a 12-gauge shotgun. He wounded three students and two teachers.
The high school is in the same district as Santana High.
